Wind Follower has six sex scenes that have been giving some -- not all-- Christians a tough time. Only about ten pages in all, but some folks have gotten way bent out of shape about them. If you find you don't like the book, you can pass it on to someone else or donate it to your local library. Don't throw it into the garbage or anything. Just being honest. I know how we Christians can be about our responsibility to the world and our duty to rid the world of any kind of evil.
That said, it's a good book and many Christians like it.
Thanks.

And that's a bit sad, because I used to write here all the time. I enjoyed

I'm one of those fundies, those Evangelical Christians, and I thought the sex scenes were done with power (when needed) and restraint, but with realism (ie a husband and wife having physical longings for one another, a man having erections when desire strikes).
If Christians like to think that words referring to desire or erections are wrong, then, really something is quite off in teh universe. I'm really glad my husband gets them. :D And I"m not embarrased to say words that, to my mind, are no different than, say, burp or cough or sneeze or fart. Things that the human body does in response to something like gas in the digestive system or mucus in the lungs or an irritant in the nose. Desire makes me stiff and women wet. And why is that such a scary thing?

Oh, and email me. I need to ask you about something relating to a possible CSFF Blog Tour (it's under consideration right now) for WF.
